My first camping event in 2 or so years and I'm hoping the weather will hold out and I'll have fun even if my friends that I've corrupted :) into the  SCA and renaissance faire world won't be coming. Though, the only friends that I had in the last SCA group I was involved with have allowed me to camp with their new group so I wouldn't be by myself since I'm not on speaking terms with the old group we all belonged to which is a story on to itself for another time .

Well, here's the thing. I'm planning on going to an SCA event in May called Baron Wars in Ohio and I want to know if anyone is willing to go too? I used to be apart of a group in the SCA but because they were a shallow bunch and I want to go but, I'm afraid to go by myself since some of them might cause trouble for me if they're around and eventhough I'm minding my own business.

I need a tailor or seamstress badly!! I have patterns that need to be sewn before faire in July and one project done before the SCA event Baron Wars in May. If you live near me I want to hear from you if your willing to help me with my work or make it for me. I am willing to pay a fair price but don't try to pull the wool over my eyes. I was ripped off by my last seamstress after I provided everything including the thread to sew it. So please, please, PLEASE!! HELP ME!!!

Well, since it's been a long cold winter for me and not much going on I desided to start making favors to give to my friends at faire but I'm starting to think I might make them for selling now too once I get it right. My plan is to used metal, semi-precious gems and glass beads in my jewelry. I've made 7 already and given some to firends outside of faire already. I plan on making earrings, necklaces, rosaries and other types of booty for people.

To start fencing again......sword play that is not the crime known as fencing. I do this not only to get into shape but to also defend a ladies honor if need be against thugs that my want to do unwanted harm to them while in my company at a event I plan on attending in the summer that can get out of hand if one makes one wrong turn down a dark path at night. So, if any of my local friends want to join me in practice on Saturday mornings let me know.
